    i get the sentiment behind the song, really, but it feels a bit too sugar-coated for me. not every family gathering is all cookies and laughter. some of us have complicated relationships that don’t magically heal over christmas cookies. still, i guess the tune’s catchy enough for those who enjoy that sort of thing.
